A brief note to the tired and uninspired

“I had no idea history was being made. I was just tired of giving up.” -Rosa Parks

Rosa Parks didn’t refuse to give up her bus seat because she was in a good mood, or because she had a gift for standing up to people, or because she was fearless, or because she felt called to change the world, or because she magically knew everything would turn out okay, or because it was a good time to rebel.

She refused to give up her bus seat because she was tired.

An entire nation was transformed simply because a woman got tired.

In your quest for inspiration, never underestimate the power of your frustration.

Instead of forcing yourself to feel inspired, maybe it’s simply time for you to get tired.

That’s my two cents.

Cheers,

T.K. Coleman
